Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay boasts some of the clearest waters in Bodrum and spans a vast area. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are well-trained, helpful, and courteous. However, the front office could be a tad friendlier. The ambiance of the hotel feels quite somber; with lights off throughout the day, it gets eerily dark and silent at night. The absence of music or any lively activity makes it feel dull, especially around the pool and restaurant areas. It seems like the hotel is cutting costs, evident from the sparse staff and lack of activities. If you're looking for a quiet swim, it's perfect. But if you're after a lively atmosphere, this might not be the place. The beach is undeniably beautiful, and the food, though a bit pricey, is of good quality. However, the rooms feel dated, and we even encountered a spider in ours.

I can’t stress enough how beautiful the view is in this place. The beach and the ships docking on the bay just steps away from your bed through the balcony is one experience I’ll never forget. Thanks to all the nice staff in the place Mr Youns at reception was phenomenal, lovely Helen in the buffet. It’s perfect.

Beautiful hotel in the amazing place Barbaros Bay ! High quality service of the hotel members! We really appreciated the attention to the details and customer service ! The hotel has a private beach in the Barbaros bay , the water is very clean and nice ! We stayed at the hotel in the middle of August and despite high season it was not crowded like other places . You could easily find places at the restaurant and sunbeds on the beach . There’s a kids club for the little ones with various activities like yoga or pizza making , so your young ones will enjoy time . Food for breakfast was always amazing with fresh fruits and bakery . Rooms are spacious with great views , comfortable mattresses and pillows. I recommend visiting this place and you won’t regret it !

It was our first time at the Kempinski Hotel in Bodrum and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay : it was an amazing experience and we can't wait to go back. The hotel was stunning and the staff was so kind and helpful. Due to be off season, most of the restaurants were closed but we were happy to spend most of our dinners at the Olive restaurant : the food was delicious and Otman made sure that we had a wonderful time. Otman was professional, friendly and eager to assist us to make our stay extra special. The only think I would have liked is seeing a more child friendly menu for our fussy girls at the Olive restaurant.

It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful environment. Excellent service. Everybody thrives and strives to meet the high standard of Kempinski. Had a wonderful 7 day holiday, enjoying the unbelievable pool, the fantastic beach, best food in all restaurants. We will return.
